We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Document Controller to join our manufacturing team in Knutsford. This is an exciting time to join the fastest growing and most successful family-owned valve manufacturer in the UK.

- Prepare, manage and files documents for company projects and day to day orders.
- Support procedures to maintain transparent, up-to-date and easily traceable documents.
- Generate and submit customer documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans.
- Liaise with internal departments including engineering, sales, production and shopfloor.
- Generate, where required, Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).
- Ensure timely completion of documentation to the Customer.
- Maintain accurate records using the company's Document Management System (DMS).
- Liaise with third party inspectors on all documentation related issues.
- Minimum of 2 year's working in the engineering or manufacturing industry or relevant experience in document process/handling/administrating.
- Good working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO
9001 is an advantage - Strong administration skills.
- Proficient in computer software programs - word processors, spreadsheet programs, and database systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliability and a detail-oriented approach.
- Be a pro-active team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.

Hours of work are 40 hours over Monday to Friday, 8:30am till 5pm
