A well-established manufacturer of specialist packaging machinery is looking to add an experienced CNC Miller / Machine Setter Operator to their growing manufacturing team.
This role is focused on setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components used in bespoke packaging equipment.

The Role
 
* Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture components from engineering drawings
 
* Work to works orders and job specifications
 
* Ensure parts are produced to the required quality standards
 
* Carry out basic adjustments to programs where required
 
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment

* Siemens
 
* Heidenhain
Shift Pattern
Two-shift rotation:
 
* 06:00 – 14:00/14:00 – 23:00 Monday – Thursday
 
* 14:00 – 18:00 Friday
25% shift allowance paid.
What They’re Looking For
 
* Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
 
* Ability to work from engineering drawings
 
* Experience working with precision components
 
* Experience using Winmax, Siemens or Heidenhain controls would be beneficial
Salary & Benefits
 * £29,000 – £31,000 basic salary (£36k–£39k package)
 * + 25% shift allowance
 
* Structured shift pattern with no weekend working
 
* 23 days holiday increasing annually to 25 days
