Packing Operators

Location: Knutsford
Pay: £13.12 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30-15:00

We're recruiting for a Packng Operative to join a specialist manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, operating machinery and being part of a team that produces high-quality products to exacting standards.

You'll gain experience across a variety of production processes and equipment, developing valuable technical skills while playing an important role in ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Set up, load and operate specialist production machinery
• Run a variety of manufacturing processes
• Carry out precise quality checks and measurements
• Monitor machine performance and resolve minor issues
• Complete production documentation accurately
• Pack, label and prepare finished products for dispatch
• Work closely with Production, Planning and Quality teams
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately to deadlines
• Confident working with machinery in a fast-paced environment
• Good maths, communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to follow detailed procedures and work instructions
• Self-motivated, organised and capable of working independently
• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn different processes
• Comfortable working in varying lighting conditions when required, including darkroom environments
• Own transport is essential due to the location of the site

• £13.12 per hour
• 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Monday-Friday working pattern (07:30-15:00)
