Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an  Paediatric Intensivist  at VPS Lakeshore Hospital, located in Kochi. The Paediatric Intensivist is responsible for providing advanced, evidence-based care to critically ill infants and children admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The role involves managing complex medical conditions, leading emergency responses, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
The Paediatric Intensivist oversees advanced life-support systems, performs critical care procedures, ensures adherence to clinical protocols, and contributes to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Effective communication with families, mentoring of junior medical staff, and compliance with NABH standards are integral to the role.

Qualifications
MD / DNB Pediatrics + DM / Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care

Experience:

3-6 years
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary medical team
Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Advanced airway management & mechanical ventilation
Emergency resuscitation & crisis decision-making
