OET Trainer

We are looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated OET Trainer. The job involves direct contact with candidates.

The ideal candidate will deliver top-tier training to healthcare professionals preparing for the Occupational English Test (OET). This includes developing course content, conducting assessments, and delivering both online and classroom-based instruction across all four OET modules—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification

- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a healthcare-related field.
- CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or OET Trainer Certification preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an OET trainer, English instructor, or related teaching role.
- Experience training healthcare professionals is an advantage.
- Qualified nurses with English training experience will be considered.

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- Experience with digital learning platforms and instructional technology.
- Familiarity with OET-specific training tools and delivery platforms.

Soft Skills

- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Organizational and project management ability.
- Effective mentoring and leadership qualities.
- A positive, motivating, and encouraging approach toward candidates.

Additional Responsibilities

- Identify language proficiency gaps and provide targeted support.
- Plan and manage training schedules, enrollment, and associated logistics.
- Liaise with third-party vendors for learning technology needs.
- Analyze training effectiveness and adjust methods accordingly.
