Role Overview
The Academic Counsellor will guide students and parents through overseas education opportunities by providing accurate counselling, supporting admission and visa processes, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end student journey.
Key Responsibilities
Understand student profiles, academic background, and career goals
Assist with university applications, documentation, SOPs, and eligibility checks
Guide students through visa procedures and documentation requirements
Follow up on leads from walk-ins, calls, and marketing inquiries
Convert enquiries into successful admissions
Coordinate with universities, partners, and internal teams
Maintain accurate student records and update CRM systems
Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional events
Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English (additional languages preferred)
Experience in Study Abroad counselling is an advantage
Ability to meet targets and work in a result-driven environment
Good follow-up and coordination skills
Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
