Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain  robust ETL/data pipelines  for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
Develop and optimize  SQL queries  for efficient data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
Implement and manage  version-controlled workflows using Git.
Build and maintain  data models  to support reporting and analytics.
Create impactful  dashboards and visualizations  using  Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
Perform  data analysis  to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve  data-related performance or quality issues.
Support and enhance  analytical and reporting workflows.

Technical

Skills Required:

Python  for scripting, automation, and data processing.
SQL  for querying, transformation, and relational database management.
Strong understanding of  ETL tools, processes, and frameworks.

Experience with  Azure cloud services , such as:
Azure Data Factory
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure Data Lake

Proficiency in  Git  for version control and collaboration
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
Knowledge of  data modeling concepts.
Understanding of  data warehousing and analytics workflows.
Familiarity with  performance tuning and query optimization

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in  Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science , or related field.
Proven experience as a  Data Engineer / Data Analyst / BI Engineer.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work with  large datasets and complex data structures.
Experience working in  cloud-based data environments (Azure preferred).
Excellent  communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
