Recruitment Incentive to be paid after the following days of employment. Employees who have met time and service, and based on satisfactory performance, will receive the recruitment incentive. After Start - $250; 90 days - $250. DUTIES
Manage swimming pool activities. Insure compliance with operating policies, instructions, safety rules and swimming practices. Acts as water safety instructor and lifeguard, instructs beginners in swimming; gives life‑saving instructions as required.
Supervises and instructs in the proper use and maintenance of pool equipment including water testing. Checks condition of showers, bathrooms and outside areas ; ensures that all areas are maintained in a neat and sanitary condition; makes notes of condition of facilities and reports to supervisor.
Checks premises for fire hazards and ensures that facility is secured at closing time. Ensures staff remains current with certifications.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDMinimum
- Must possess and maintain the following certifications:
Lifeguarding, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for the Professional Rescuer;
Automated External Defibrillation (AED);
First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard or Ellis); and the American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certificate.
