This role supports the teacher in creating a structured, and nurturing learning environment by assisting with daily classroom activities, student supervision, and individualized instruction. Additionally, it fosters students' social and emotional growth while ensuring their well-being throughout the school day.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with daily classroom activities to support a structured and engaging learning environment.
• Supervise students during assigned times, ensuring a safe and productive atmosphere.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce instructional concepts and provide additional support.
• Support the social and emotional development of students both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist with the distribution and supervision of breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the classroom and school.

Þ Applicant must have a completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.

Þ Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status to remain aid eligible.

Þ Must be enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit hour in eligible courses during employment or coming term

• Currently Enrolled at Ivy Tech in Good Academic and Financial Aid Standing
