Construction Project Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Facilities & Construction Project Engineer to support facilities engineering, construction management, and capital project execution at an onsite technical center.

• Partner with engineering and validation teams to ensure facility and lab readiness.
• Supervise external contractors and oversee facility work.
• Maintain facility layouts, equipment documentation, and compliance records.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 14001, OSHA, IATF 16949, VDA TISAX, and global facility standards.
• Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives (ISO 50001).
• Lead construction and renovation projects: lab expansions, infrastructure upgrades, office reconfigurations, etc.
• Manage contractors, timelines, budgets, and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and local building codes.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and stakeholder coordination plans.
• Oversee construction quality, safety, and adherence to all standards.
• Support capital planning and execution activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in facilities or construction project engineering (automotive/R&D experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of building systems, lab infrastructure, and construction management.
• Experience managing capital projects and facility upgrades.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, facility management systems, and scheduling software.
• Solid understanding of ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 50001 & OSHA.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
