Sr. Systems Test Engineer
We seek a Sr. Systems Test Engineer based out of our office at 2151 E Lincoln Road, Kokomo, IN 46902. This is a hybrid position with work from the office and from home; hence the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance. The position does not require travel.
Responsibilities- Developing system qualification test strategy.
- Analyzing system-level requirements and creating mature, robust test specifications.
- Performing systems qualification testing and preparing results.
- Supporting customer interface for system qualification issues along with the System Test Lead.
- Conducting peer reviews of system integration, qualification strategy and test specifications.
- Interface and support with System Integration Engineers and Test Automation Engineers.
- Participating in Test Spec Defect Process and maintaining Defect Tracking Process across all projects.
- Ensuring process adherence across projects against ASPICE levels.
- Supporting audits on the project at all testing levels.
- Supporting bench definition/configuration required for testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering and 36 months of experience in a related systems engineer, validation engineer, or systems software test role.
Required Experience- Experience in writing test specifications on requirements as well as designs.
- Experience with different types of test generation methodology.
- Experience in executing tests on different test environments, including Vehicle, Dyne, HV Bench, and HIL.
- Experience with Dspace/NI/CAN tools (CANstress, CANoe).
- Experience with defect tracking process tools.
