School-Based Behavior Consultation is an award-winning, BCBA-owned organization accredited by BHCOE. We focus on skill development and challenging behavior reduction for student success. SBBC provides ABA therapy and behavior support interventions in‑school and in‑home to improve social skills, academics, vocational skills, functional skills, and communication. We partner with other specialists, school staff, the students we serve, and caregivers.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to conduct behavior identification assessments, develop behavior plans, and implement treatment plans under the supervision of a certified BCBA. The BCaBA will provide ABA therapy services in school, center, home, and community settings and assist with RBT supervision and training.
WorkdayThe BCaBA is responsible for approximately 30‑40 hours of ABA therapy implementation services per week.
Compensation- W‑2 position starts at $29.40‑$37.40 per hour.

- Collaborates with families, caregivers, and all service providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Conducts direct and indirect skill identification assessments and functional behavior assessments.
- Develops evidence‑based treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Attends relevant meetings, including treatment team meetings, case conference committee meetings for clients with IEP/ISP, and staffing.
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
- Attends insurance authorization review calls for caseload clients.
- Collects data before and during implementation to assess plan efficacy and make data‑based decisions.
- Provides direct instruction, ongoing supervision, training, and support to clients, staff, and family members during scheduled visits.
- Evaluates effectiveness of implemented treatment plans and modifies plans as necessary.
- Initiates services with new clients in a timely manner upon receiving information from the director.
- Manages caseload and submits all required documentation on time (assessments, treatment plans/BSPs, insurance updates, session notes after every session, monthly data analysis, plan updates).
- Generates reports mandated by funders and SBBC in a timely manner.
- Maintains scheduled meetings with the BCBA for supervision standards and service delivery.
- Performs other duties as requested/assigned.
- Accepts feedback and ongoing training in a positive and professional manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field preferred.
- Two years’ experience in a school setting working with students with behavior challenges (including Autism, SED, and other developmental disabilities).
- Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in ABA.
- 1 year experience as BCaBA.
- CPR and CPI certification.
- Drug screen and criminal background check required for hire.
The BCaBA reports directly to the Regional BCBA.
