$18.87/hr - $28.38/hr
What you'll be doing- Provide safe, comfortable, and high‑quality dialysis treatment; gather patient stats before and after treatment, initiate and terminate treatment, and collect blood samples per physician orders.
- Prepare hemodialysis machines before treatment, clean and disinfect them afterward, conduct safety checks, and log results for quality control.
- Use appropriate safety measures, including PPE, and adhere to company policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients in need.
- Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, within 8 weeks of hire.
- Successful completion of USRC training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis within 8 weeks of hire.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or as required by the state.
- Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained through a state certification program or nationally recognized certification program within 18 months of hire.
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
- Comfortable with mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
