Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders.

• Exceptional communication and patient care skills aptitude toward the team philosophy
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Basic computer skills
• Sterile procedure
• Provides correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary
• Serves as preceptor for imaging procedures
• Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique
• Meets all computer and documentation competencies
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED required
• License
  
  Required:
  
  Current ARDMS or ARRT Certification in Ultrasound
• Registered Vascular Tech within 1 year, if not currently vascular certified
