Altra Homecare of Kokomo is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Homecare Caregivers in Kokomo, Indiana. As a Homecare Caregiver, you will provide essential personal care services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, tailored to meet their unique needs and preferences. Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide medication reminders and administer medications as prescribed
• Ensure patient safety by monitoring vital signs, administering oxygen therapy, and assisting with ambulation
• Provide meal preparation and assistance with feeding
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Offer companion services, including letter-writing and reading
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Preferred:
  Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided
• Current CPR certification
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws
