General Manager, Home Care Operations & Growth – Kokomo, IN
Klipsch Senior Care, LLC, d.b.a. Home Instead, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented General Manager to lead our franchise office in Kokomo, IN. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for the overall success of the franchise, focusing on achieving ambitious operational, financial, and growth targets, including a key objective to drive Hours of Care growth by 12.5%.

Key Responsibilities and Growth FocusAs the General Manager, you will be accountable for all franchise activities and performance, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with our core values.
- Strategic Leadership & Financial Management:
Develop and manage the annual operational plan and budget. Achieve the annual operational plan’s revenues, gross profit, and profitability goals. - Sales & Business Development:
Provide leadership across home care sales and business development, driving growth and achieving the target of 12.5% Hours of Care growth. You must demonstrate a sales-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and contributing to business growth. - Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with community referral sources. - Operational Oversight:
Lead and manage all departments (e.g., scheduling, Care Professional recruitment and engagement, client services). Manage departmental outcomes and direct changes to achieve operational goals. - Team Leadership:
Oversee all functions of the office staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and coaching. - Compliance & Ethics:
Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensure that they are implemented and communicated to all employees.
We’re looking for a dedicated leader who is a self‑motivated and organized professional with a focus on growth.
- Experience:
Three to five years of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. A college degree is preferred. - Leadership:
Proven experience in a supervisory role with responsibility for interviewing, hiring, training, and managing performance. - Sales Mindset:
Demonstrated sales‑driven mindset and a proven track record of success in previous roles. - Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), client care systems, scheduling software, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Teams or other virtual meeting platforms is required. Must have the ability to operate HI technology systems. - Communication & Judgment:
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively. Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and good decision‑making.
