Wellness Desk Attendant

POSITION SUMMARY

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Educate and enforce operational guidelines and regulation with all members. Intentionally fosters a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined.

SHIFT/S :
Part-time Hourly

• Promote program and membership enrollment in interactions with existing and potential members.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
• Follow emergency procedures and safety precautions. Follow procedures for reporting all accidents, incidents and hazards.
• Monitor Wellness Floor to ensure exceptional member experience (i.e., re-rack weights, clean machines, remove trash and debris, replenish wipes, log maintenance issues related to equipment, fill in gaps on cleaning log).
• Accept additional assignments and all other YMCA duties assigned outside of job description.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent to
• CPR/AED certification within first 30 days of employment
• Excellent customer service and general office skills
• Basic knowledge of computers and general office equipment
• Ability to work in a dynamic, changing and diverse environment
