Core accountabilities
Own the requirements lifecycle from discovery through delivery, converting business needs into functional specifications.
Shape analytics solution design and user experience for scalable, intuitive and actionable insight.
Define SAC applications, dashboards and planning use cases, supported by S/4

HANA actuals and embedded analytics.
Partner with data engineering and SAP product teams on ingestion, transformation, harmonisation, security and performance.
Strengthen governance through KPI ownership, analytics catalogues, data quality controls, standards and data literacy.
Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, manage interim-state issues and contribute to the evolving Analytics and AI operating model.
Critical capability
Strong business analysis experience in enterprise analytics and BI.
Hands-on delivery experience across at least one full SAP S/4

HANA implementation, including embedded analytics, SAC and Datasphere or BW/4

HANA.
Deep functional understanding of Tax and broader Finance Domain
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex insight to executive and operational audiences.
Strong grounding in data modelling, KPI frameworks, analytical storytelling and agile delivery.
Preferred experience
Lead end-to-end requirement lifecycle – from discovery through delivery.
Collaborate with senior business partners across Tax (and Finance) to identify analytical needs, challenges, and opportunities.
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for data models, KPIs, dashboards, and stories.
Influence analytics solution design and user experience, ensuring insights are intuitive, scalable, and actionable.
Define and design SAC analytical applications, stories, dashboards, and visualizations for executive, managerial, and operational users.
Support SAC Planning and Forecasting use cases (where applicable), including integration with S/4

HANA actuals.
Apply best practices for SAC performance, security roles, data actions, and story optimization.
Ensure SAC content supports Top-Floor to Shop-Floor analytics consumption
Contribute to the design of enterprise data models in SAP Datasphere, including:
Analytical datasets, Reusable semantic layers and Business entity models aligned with S/4

HANA
Work with data engineering teams to define ingestion patterns, transformations, and harmonization rules.
Drive consistency across master data, hierarchies, and reference data to support enterprise reporting.
Support integration with BW/S4

HANA and other data hubs where applicable.
Bring strong functional understanding of the Tax, including:
Direct/Indirect Tax, Corporation Tax, International Tax;
Tax Accounting;
Tax Data and Compliance
Define Tax Key Performance Indicators and analytics such for Core and Operational
Leverage S/4

HANA Embedded Analytics (CDS Views, Analytical Queries) to support real-time NS&SCP insights.
Collaborate with Tax (and Finance) functional teams to ensure analytics aligns with Fit-to-Standard S/4 processes.
Participate in data management and analytics governance initiatives, including:
Analytics catalog design, KPI definitions and ownership, Data quality monitoring
Promote data literacy and citizen analytics within the business.
Develop and embed standards and guidelines for the analytics development lifecycle.
Prepare materials, sample datasets, and processes for Fit-to-Standard workshops.
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Analytics & AI operating model.
Be responsible for navigation of interim states and solving the problems they generate.
Prepare material, tools, sample data, and processes for Fit-2-Standard workshops.
Lead integration of analytics and AI into business processes, where possible automating decision making.

Crucial Experience
Good experience in Business Analysis within Analytics and BI domains.
Hands-on experience in one or more full SAP S/4

HANA implementation cycles, with a focus on: S/4 Embedded Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere or SAP BW/4

HANA
Ability to convey complex information through analytics to diverse audiences, from executives to operational teams.
