Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting processes in a dynamic and growth-driven renewable energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally/ERP system
- Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts, journals)
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly closing entries
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring timely clearance
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up with clients for payments
- Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers
- GST & Taxation Compliance
- Prepare monthly GST working and returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
- Assist in TDS deduction, payment, and filing of returns
- Support in income tax and other statutory filings
- MIS & Reporting
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets
- Generate reports for internal management review and audits
- Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors
- Ensure compliance with internal financial control policies and procedures
- Support documentation and audit readiness
- Other Tasks
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all transactions
- Assist in project-wise accounting and cost allocations
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions for routine transactions

Key Requirements:

- Education:

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)

- Experience:

3–10 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the infrastructure, energy, or manufacturing sector

- Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Desirable Attributes:

- Experience in a high-compliance and audit-intensive environment
- Familiarity with renewable energy project accounting and capital expenditure tracking
- Exposure to multi-location or project-based accounting

Compensation:
As per industry standards, commensurate with experience
