Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, located in Kolkata. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and preparing reports. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, auditing financial documents, handling accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and assisting in financial analysis. The Accountant will also ensure compliance with financial regulations and support the finance team in improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Proficient in financial accounting, accounts reconciliation, and financial reporting
Skilled in budget management, payroll processing, and expense tracking
Competent in taxation and understanding of financial regulations

Experience with accounting software and tools such as Tally, Quick Books, or similar platforms
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines effectively
