Position
Assistant Professor – Statistics, Mathematics & Economics
Eligibility
• Master's Degree with a strong academic background in Statistics, Mathematics and Economics.
• NET/SET qualification or Ph.D. will be preferred as per AICTE/UGC norms.
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes is desirable. Exceptional fresh candidates with outstanding academic credentials may also apply.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for teaching, research and student mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Statistics, Mathematics and Economics.
• Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments and assessments.
• Mentor students for academic excellence, projects, internships and research activities.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic quality enhancement initiatives.
• Contribute to research publications, conferences and consultancy projects.
• Support accreditation processes, academic administration and institutional development.
Preferred Skills
• Sound knowledge of Business Statistics, Quantitative Techniques, Business Mathematics and Economics.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, SPSS, R, Python or other statistical analysis tools will be an added advantage.
• Ability to adopt innovative and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
