VAPT Consultant | Assistant Manager | Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for skilled Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) professionals to join our cybersecurity consulting team. The role involves executing and leading security testing engagements across applications, infrastructure, cloud, and APIs, while working closely with clients to identify, validate, and remediate security risks.
Key Responsibilities
Core VAPT Responsibilities
- Perform Web Application, Mobile Application, Network, and Infrastructure Penetration Testing
- Conduct Black-box, Grey-box, and White-box testing engagements
- Execute OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and CWE-based assessments
- Identify, exploit, and validate vulnerabilities with clear risk ratings and impact analysis
- Prepare detailed VAPT reports including PoCs, remediation guidance, and re-testing results
Advanced / Leadership Responsibilities (AM & Manager)
- Lead end-to-end VAPT engagements and manage multiple projects in parallel
- Perform API, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Source Code Review assessments
- Review junior team deliverables and ensure quality of reports
- Interface with client security, IT, and engineering teams
- Support pre-sales discussions, scoping, and effort estimation (Manager level)
Technical Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience in Web, Mobile (Android/iOS), Network & Infrastructure VAPT
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, OWASP MASVS, NIST, CVSS
- Experience with tools such as:
- Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP
- Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS
- Metasploit, Nmap, Nikto
- Postman (API testing)
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, session management, and API security
- Exposure to cloud security testing is a plus
Certifications (Preferred)
- OSCP / CEH / GWAPT / GPEN / CRTO / CREST
- Any relevant application or network security certification is an advantage
Role Level Mapping (Indicative)
- Consultant:
Hands-on testing, execution, reporting
- Assistant Manager:
Lead engagements, mentor team members, client coordination
- Manager:
Delivery ownership, stakeholder management, presales support
Notice Period
Immediate to 30 days preferred (early joiners highly desirable)
