Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced  Senior Digital & IT Controls and Audit Support Specialist  to develop, enhance, and oversee IT and digital controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and governance framework.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and govern the  IT/digital controls framework , aligning with best practices  (COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL)  and  UAE regulations  (NESA, ADHICS, UAE Data Protection Law).
Draft, review, and update controls to  support risk management, cybersecurity, and audit goals
Collaborate with  cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and IT teams  for comprehensive control coverage.
Lead  annual IT/digital controls assessments  and coordinate  internal/external audits (preparation, execution, liaison, findings response, remediation tracking, and follow-ups) .
Act as  primary point of contact for regulatory/compliance audits,  monitor compliance, identify gaps, and recommend remediation.
Maintain  centralized governance controls repository  with versioning, access controls, audit trails, and up-to-date documentation lifecycle.
Design and deliver  annual awareness/training programs and workshops  to promote risk-aware culture across IT, security, and business teams.
Partner with senior stakeholders  to align controls with business/regulatory changes, provide strategic recommendations for enhancements, automation, and efficiency, track/report performance metrics and improvement insights to leadership.

Qualifications
10+ years of experience  in IT controls, audit, supports compliance, or digital governance within large enterprises.
Strong expertise in  IT control frameworks  such as  COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, SOX , and  UAE regulatory standards (e.g., NESA, ADHICS, UAE Data Protection Law).
Hands-on experience in designing, assessing, and optimizing IT and digital controls.
Proven experience in  audit coordination , including working with  internal and external auditors.
Experience managing IT governance and compliance documentation, including control registers and audit repositories.
Strong ability to  engage with senior stakeholders and influence control strategies .

Skills and Attributes
Experience in Oil & Gas  or  other regulated industries  is preferred.
Familiarity with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platforms and IT compliance tools.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills, particularly in audit tracking and compliance monitoring.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
