Network Operations Center Team Lead

Hiring for "Lead – NOC (Network Operation Centre)" for a leading Bank.

Role

Summary:

This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring 24x7 availability, performance, and security of the organization’s network infrastructure. The role involves strategic planning, incident management, team leadership, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure high network availability and performance as per defined SLAs.
Lead incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL framework).
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
Monitor network performance and resolve issues within defined TAT.
Lead and mentor network operations team; manage resources effectively.
Develop and enforce SOPs, KPIs, and operational dashboards.
Collaborate with ISPs, vendors, and managed service providers; ensure SLA compliance.
Strengthen network security, access controls, and conduct periodic audits.
Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
Introduce automation tools to improve monitoring and operational efficiency.
Generate regular performance and outage reports for IT leadership.

Experience &

Skills Required:

9-14 years of experience in Network / IT Infrastructure.
Strong expertise in Routing, Switching, VLANs, VPNs, TCP/IP architectures.

Experience with monitoring tools like Solar Winds, Op Manager.
Good understanding of firewalls, intrusion prevention, and network security best practices.
Knowledge of Linux/Windows servers.
Familiarity with ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Experience in automation, network migrations, and project deployments.
Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications:

CCNA / CCNP / CCIE (preferred/required).
