Job Description - Reporting Lead (Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/SCM)
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Reporting Lead with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud reporting technologies including BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate should possess deep functional and technical understanding across Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, and SCM modules, along with excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise reporting solutions across Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, and SCM.
Develop and maintain complex BI Publisher (BIP) reports, OTBI analyses, dashboards, and data models.
Write and optimize PL/SQL queries, packages, procedures, and performance tuning activities.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide expertise on Oracle Cloud critical tables and data relationships across Finance, SCM, and HCM modules.
Manage end-to-end reporting lifecycle including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Lead reporting teams and coordinate with onsite/offshore resources.
Support implementation and production support activities for Oracle Cloud applications.
Ensure reporting standards, governance, and best practices are followed.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams for data validation and issue resolution.
Explore AI-enabled reporting and analytics capabilities where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience Mandatory Skills 12+ years of overall IT experience.
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud technical experience in implementation and support projects.
Strong expertise in:
BI Publisher (BIP) - especially complex report development
OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence)
PL/SQL
Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud critical tables in:
Finance
SCM
HCM
Experience working on complex reporting requirements and enterprise dashboards.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and managerial skills.
Ability to lead reporting work streams independently.
Good to Have
Experience with AI-enabled reporting, analytics, or intelligent dashboards.
Exposure to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or advanced analytics solutions.
Experience in data migration, integrations, or reporting automation.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Oracle Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong client-facing and leadership capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Current Role Expectations
Candidate should preferably be working in both implementation and support engagements.
Ability to interact with senior leadership and business stakeholders effectively.
