Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in SD-WAN architecture, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting, including both Central Management System (CMS/Controller) and Edge devices.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with leading SD-WAN and Next-Generation Firewall solutions such as Cisco, Fortinet/Forti Gate, Palo Alto Networks, and flexiWAN.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot SD-WAN solutions across Central Management (CMS/Controller) and Edge devices.
Work on SD-WAN overlay and underlay network architecture.
Configure and troubleshoot VPN technologies, including IPsec and site-to-site VPN.
Configure and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols such as: OSPF, BGP, RIP.
Work with routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, ACLs, and firewall policies.
Configure and troubleshoot WAN connectivity across multiple links and service providers.
Understand SD-WAN features such as path selection, link monitoring, failover, load balancing, and application-aware routing.
Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and performance issues.
Participate in interoperability testing with third-party networking and security products.
Support product testing, validation, PoC, and customer deployments.
Collaborate with Development, QA, System Architecture, and Product teams.
Adhere to high quality software development standards.
Responsible for maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Vehere’s information assets including business critical information.
Skills and Experience:
5- 8 Years of hands-on experience in networking and network security.
Strong practical experience with SD-WAN solutions , including CMS/Controller and Edge devices.
Hands-on exposure to one or more of:
Cisco SD-WAN /Fortinet / Forti Gate SD-WAN /Palo Alto/ Networks SD-WAN /flexiWAN.
Strong understanding of VPN and IPsec ,OSPF, BGP ,RIP ,TCP/IP networking ,Routing and Switching, VLAN and VRF, NAT and Firewall policies
Good understanding of SD-WAN Overlay and Underlay architecture.
Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
Experience working with Linux networking will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP).
Understanding of High Availability (HA) and network redundancy.
Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, NSE, PCNSE, or equivalent are preferred.
