How to Apply:

The Fellowship amount for the above position goes to par with similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above position is entirely on a short-term basis with a maximum period of three years. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based upon the performance of the candidate and also discretion of the Competent Authority.

NIPGR reserves the right to choose the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications as well as experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts will be as per Govt. of India norms. The position might be ended whenever by giving a month notification by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any kind of regular position of NIPGR.Eligible

Qualification:

Candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests as mentioned in the DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019 and candidates having M.Sc./M.Tech degree (with minimum 60% marks) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or equivalent are eligible for interview. Candidate having prior work experience in plant molecular biology, plant tissue culture (tomato), protein expression in bacteria is highly desirable.
