Key Responsibilities
You will lead the Fish & Meat category at a national level with end-to-end ownership across sales, pricing, sourcing, vendor management, inventory, and execution. The role focuses on driving P&L performance, controlling shrinkage and wastage, strengthening vendor partnerships, ensuring quality and compliance, and delivering consistent availability and freshness across locations.
Financial (P&L)
Own category P&L including budgeting and financial planning
Drive buying decisions to meet sales, margin, and profitability targets
Lead commerce planning aligned to category growth objectives
Customer
Ensure quality standards, food safety, and regulatory compliance
Deliver consistent freshness and customer satisfaction across stores
Internal business processes
Lead range building and assortment planning for fish and meat
Manage buying and merchandising execution across locations
Strengthen vendor management to ensure continuity of supply and efficiency
Innovation / analytics
Drive data analysis to support category decisions and performance improvement
Use insights to optimize assortment, pricing, and buying strategies
Experience/Skills Required
Must have minimum of 8-10 years of experience
Experience in leading F&M/Frozen Food category business
Preferable from Retail and E-Commerce Background
