Loss Prevention Manager

ROLE (Why position exists):
Will be responsible for minimizing retail losses by monitoring transaction exceptions, controlling inventory shrinkage, strengthening audit controls, and ensuring process compliance across stores. The role focuses on transaction monitoring, reconciliation, fraud detection, inventory control, and loss prevention through SAP and POS analytics.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor negative billing, returns, refunds, voids, discount misuse, and transaction exceptions across stores
Control inventory shrinkage, stock variance, and operational losses
Perform reconciliation between POS, SAP, and inventory records
Review SAP CAR, SAP FI/MM, and Ginesys POS transaction reports for irregularities
Track suspicious cashier activities, billing patterns, and store-level exceptions
Conduct investigations related to inventory discrepancies and process deviations
Ensure adherence to SOPs, audit requirements, GST controls, and internal policies
Support store audits, surprise checks, and loss prevention reviews
Generate MIS, exception reports, and analysis dashboards for management review
Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Audit, and Store teams for issue closure and corrective actions

EDUCATIONAL

QUALIFICATION:

Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Retail Management, or related discipline.
CA Inter preferred
Relevant certifications in Audit / Risk Management preferred

EXPERIENCE
4–8 years of experience in Loss Prevention, Store Audit, Internal Audit, Inventory Control, or Retail Reconciliation
Experience in Fashion Retail, Retail Chains, or FMCG Retail preferred
Exposure to SAP FI/MM is mandatory
