Fleet Operations Manager

We are a growing transport company with our own fleet of trucks dedicated to cement transport across East India. We are looking for a sharp, 'street-smart' Office Manager to oversee our physical assets, manage drivers, and ensure maximum vehicle uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

GPS & Tracking:  Daily monitoring of vehicle movement; identifying route deviations and idle time.
Driver Management:  Handling recruitment, trip advance management, and resolving on-road driver issues.
Maintenance (R&M):  Scheduling preventive maintenance for our trucks and managing emergency breakdowns via a network of mechanics.
Fuel Management:  Monitoring diesel consumption (KMPL) and implementing theft-prevention measures.
Compliance:  Managing vehicle documents (Fitness, Insurance, Permits) .
Candidate Requirements:

Languages:

Must be fluent in  Bengali and Hindi  (to communicate with drivers).

Experience:

3 years in managing a company-owned fleet (HCV/Trucks).
Technical

Skills:

Comfortable with GPS software and MS Excel.
