Job Description
Lagom by AMI is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts & Billing Assistant to support our finance operations at our aesthetic and wellness clinic in Kollam. The role involves handling daily accounting activities, billing, invoicing, compliance support, and financial reporting.
You will work closely with the management and finance team to ensure accurate financial records, smooth billing processes, and timely compliance.
Key Responsibilities Accounting Duties
- Maintain books of accounts including cash book, ledger, and journal entries
- Record daily financial transactions accurately
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
- Support audits and statutory compliance
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare and issue invoices as per company policy
- Verify billing data, rates, and supporting documents
- Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients
- Update billing records and customer accounts
- Handle billing queries and resolve discrepancies
Taxation & Compliance
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures
Reporting
- Prepare MIS reports related to billing, collections, and expenses
- Provide accurate financial information to management
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting and billing
- Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar)
- Good understanding of GST, taxation, and basic compliance
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
