Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced Senior Study Abroad Student Counsellor to handle advanced international counselling, manage parent-level discussions, and support the counselling team with expertise and leadership.
This role is ideal for professionals who believe in guiding students, not selling countries.
Key Responsibilities
Student & Parent Counselling
Conduct detailed counselling sessions for international education pathways
Guide students on course, country, and university selection aligned with career goals
Handle complex profiles involving academic gaps, budget constraints, and parent concerns
Country & University Expertise
Provide expert counselling for assigned country clusters (UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, etc.)
Explain admission requirements, intakes, tuition fees, living costs, and post-study opportunities
Stay updated with changes in immigration rules, visa trends, and education policies
Admission & Process Coordination
Plan application strategies and intake timelines
Coordinate with Application Executives, Visa & Documentation team, Finance team, and Interview Trainers
Ensure accurate profiling and smooth handover across departments
Team Support & Mentoring
Guide and support Junior Counsellors
Maintain counselling quality and SOP adherence
Share best practices and counselling insights with the team
Ethics & Compliance
Follow Navinora’s zero-tolerance ethical standards
Avoid over-promising or misrepresentation
Escalate risk cases and compliance issues immediately
Eligibility & Experience
Graduation in any discipline (Post-graduation preferred)
2–5 years of proven experience in Study Abroad counselling
Strong exposure to country-specific counselling (UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, etc.)
Excellent communication skills in English & Malayalam
Confident in handling parent-level counselling
Willing to work from Kollam or Kottayam branch or relocate
Salary & Benefits
₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience & performance)
