Opportunity based in Kota, Rajasthan (on-site) supporting a full-service Cath Lab and inpatient cardiac unit.

Position:  Consultant Cardiologist (DM/DrNB) — On-site at Ethos Hospital, Kota. Medico Hub is recruiting on behalf of the hospital for a high-impact clinician to lead clinical cardiology practice, deliver procedural excellence, and contribute to service growth in a busy regional centre.

Role & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient cardiology care including acute cardiac admissions, structured clinics, and follow-up management.
Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures: echocardiography (TTE/TEE), ECG, Holter monitoring, and cardiac catheterisation diagnostics.
Deliver interventional procedures in the Cath Lab—PCI, coronary angiography—and perform device implantations (pacemaker/ICD) where indicated.
Lead resuscitation and acute cardiac emergency responses; ensure adherence to clinical protocols and evidence-based pathways.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (anesthesia, cardiac surgery, intensive care, nursing) to optimise patient outcomes and peri-procedural care.
Contribute to clinical governance: participate in audits, outcomes tracking, continuous quality improvement, and mentoring/junior doctor supervision.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

DM / DrNB in Cardiology (super-specialty qualification)
Registration with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council
Proven competence in Cath Lab procedures including coronary angiography and PCI

Experience with device implantation (permanent pacemaker/ICD) and post-procedural care
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Strong diagnostic skills in echocardiography and ECG interpretation

Preferred

Fellowship or additional training in Interventional Cardiology or advanced echocardiography (e.g., FASE)
Experience in tertiary-care cardiology units, teaching, and clinical governance initiatives
