Role Description  The Assistant Project Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and structural steel projects. This role assists in organizing project schedules, monitoring progress, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal quality standards. The Assistant Project Manager will coordinate with expeditors, logistics teams, and inspection personnel to maintain timelines and resolve project-related issues.

Daily tasks include preparing project documentation, updating status reports, communicating with stakeholders, and supporting risk and resource management. The role also contributes to process improvement initiatives and helps ensure that project workflows follow established procedures and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of engineering or construction-related projects.

Experience with Expeditor and Expediting functions to track materials, components, and documentation through the project lifecycle.
Inspection skills for reviewing deliverables, ensuring quality standards, and supporting compliance with specifications.
Logistics Management skills to coordinate shipments, manage timelines, and support global delivery operations.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional and international teams.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools; familiarity with CAD or engineering environments is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
