Role Overview  As an ACCA Mentor at Elance, your core role is to support students through structured question practice and to monitor their performance closely. You will prepare and correct question papers, run one-on-one doubt clearance sessions as well as group doubt clearance sessions, and provide tailored support to each student category. The focus of the role is not lead teaching but reinforcing learning, building exam readiness, and ensuring every student — regardless of their level or pace — gets the individual attention needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities    Question Practice Support:  Guide students through structured question practice, recommend the right questions for each topic and level, and build their problem-solving approach and exam technique
Performance Monitoring:  Track each student's practice and assessment performance, identify learning gaps early, and provide targeted support to keep them on track
Question Paper Preparation:  Prepare practice question papers, mock tests, and assignments aligned to the current ACCA syllabus and exam pattern
Correction & Feedback:  Correct answer scripts thoroughly, provide detailed feedback on accuracy, presentation, and time management, and guide improvement
One-on-One Doubt Clearance:  Conduct individual doubt clearance sessions to resolve student-specific difficulties and provide personalised remediation
Group Doubt Clearance:  Run mentor-led group doubt clearance sessions to address common difficulties and reinforce key concepts across the batch
Student Category Support:  Provide differentiated support for each student category (e.g. fast-track, average, and at-risk learners), adapting pace and attention to individual needs
Reporting:  Maintain accurate records of practice completion, scores, and progress, and report on student performance regularly

Question Practice Completion Rate ≥ 90%
Answer Script Correction Turnaround ≤ 48 hours
Doubt Clearance Session Attendance ≥ 90%
Student Performance Improvement (Mock to Mock) ≥ 15%
Student Satisfaction / Feedback Score ≥ 90%
Student Retention (Active Continuation) ≥ 90%

Required

Skills & Qualifications

Qualification:

ACCA Affiliate Or ACCA with all 10 papers cleared

Experience:

Prior experience in mentoring, tutoring, question practice support, or answer correction in ACCA or professional commerce education preferred
Subject Mastery:  Strong command across ACCA papers and a thorough understanding of the current ACCA exam pattern and marking approach
Communication

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to explain solutions clearly and patiently
Mentoring Ability:  Patience, empathy, and the ability to support students of varying abilities through individual and group sessions
Tech Proficiency:  Comfort with online and hybrid tools, LMS platforms, and digital assessment / correction methods
Result-Oriented:  Strong commitment to student performance and pass-rate outcomes
