$18.00/hr – $18.00/hr

Trilogy Valor – Southwest of downtown Boise, Idaho, in the Treasure Valley area

Position Overview

The Fitness Attendant assists the fitness staff in delivering courteous service to members in the fitness area and reports to the Wellness Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the Blue Star Experience for members and guests by modeling and maintaining the standards set in Blue Star 10 and adhering to Blue Star Resort & Golf (BSRG) and facility policies.
  • Operate as part of a team handling daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, facility inspections and stocking, and communicating maintenance needs.
  • Maintain and organize equipment in fitness and locker room areas.
  • Replenish supply of clean towels in fitness and locker rooms throughout the shift.
  • Inspect and maintain fitness stations for neatness and cleanliness.
  • Demonstrate function of fitness equipment, proper use and techniques.
  • Welcome and check in members and guests at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service and following up on inquiries.
  • Provide feedback to managers about customer satisfaction and concerns to improve overall operations.
  • Develop in‑depth knowledge of all fitness services and products, promote them enthusiastically, and support members in making choices for their wellbeing.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications / Skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One to three years of direct customer service and hospitality experience required.
  • One to three years of health and fitness related work experience preferred.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledgeable in fitness club operations.
  • Skilled in attentive customer service and calmly responding to guest concerns.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, portions, and percentages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to respond to staff, guests, and community association requests.
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to think, work, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with continuous improvement expected.
  • Flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Work Environment

This position operates indoors and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines. The noise level is usually moderate.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee must regularly hear, see, speak clearly, understand speech, sit, stand, walk (occasionally for an extended period), use hands to fingers, handle or feel, bend, and reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
