Role Description  The Admission Counselor is a full-time, remote role responsible for guiding prospective students and families through the enrollment process at Alphabit School. On a day-to-day basis, the Admission Counselor responds to inquiries via phone, email, and online chat, providing clear information about programs, curriculum, tuition, and enrollment requirements. The role includes conducting virtual consultations to assess learner needs, recommending suitable course pathways, and supporting applicants in completing registration and documentation.

The Admission Counselor tracks and follows up with leads, maintains accurate records in the admissions system, and collaborates with academic and support teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. This role also contributes to outreach initiatives, participates in virtual information sessions or webinars, and provides feedback to improve admissions processes and prospective learner experiences.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse students and families.
Proven Customer Service experience, including handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing empathetic, solution-focused support.
Sales-related skills such as lead follow-up, consultative conversations, and guiding prospects toward appropriate enrollment decisions.
Background or interest in Education, ideally with experience in online learning, K–12 or higher education, or edtech environments.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain detailed and accurate records in CRM or admissions systems.
Comfort with technology, including video conferencing tools, email platforms, and basic office software; experience with learning management systems is a plus.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a consistent, goal-oriented approach to meeting admissions and outreach targets.
Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in education, communications, counseling, business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in admissions, customer-facing roles, or counseling.
