Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to turn complex financial data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and accounts payable/receivable in Arabic and English.
- Assist in the timely closing of financial periods, including preparing journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
- Identify inefficiencies in current accounting procedures and help implement streamlined workflows.
