About The Job
We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join our custom clearance & logistics company in Kuwait.
Role DescriptionThe Chief Accountant will oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, prepare financial statements, and manage budgets.
The role requires leadership in supervising a team and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor cash flow
- Reconciling accounts
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience, including leadership experience
- Experience in logistics, custom clearance, transportation, or freight forwarding is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Fluency in English; familiarity with Arabic language is a plus
- Must be currently residing in Kuwait
- Available for immediate joining
