Accountant, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Manage and reconcile bank statements and other accounts, making sure all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Perform monthly and year-end closing procedures.
• Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure all required documentation is provided.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAP, Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong proficiency in French (written and spoken).
