- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Manage and reconcile bank statements and other accounts, making sure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Perform monthly and year-end closing procedures.
- Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure all required documentation is provided.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAP, Oracle.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong proficiency in French (written and spoken).
