Job description:
Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant is a crital part of the Accounting Team and will support all aspects of the accounting and controls function.
Job Responsibilities- Review current systems, Assess risks and controls related to processes and support in designing appropriate internal controls to protect company assets.
- Handle Independently accounting, compliance and audit of smaller legal entities
- Coordinate and support Finance with Information and Analysis
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and coordinate with Legal team and Ministry on compliance to Local laws
- Ledger scrutiny and timely reconciliation of accounts
- Must have graduated in Accounting/Commerce and display good relevant accounting knowledge
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Sound knowledge of accounting and internal controls.
- Analytical mind set with good problem solving and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS office with hands on knowledge on ERP systems
- Strong team orientation
- Strong communication skills in English, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage
