Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company in Al-Kuwait. They will manage all accounting processes, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with local and international standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. This is an English-speaking position and accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates.

Visa sponsorship is also available for qualified candidates from Africa or Egypt.

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Monitor budgeting and forecasting activities
• Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
• Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks, SAP)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience managing junior staff is preferred

Salary: 1800$ per month
