Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and processing invoices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This position is suitable for Pakistani or Egyptian nationals, with no English language requirement and no prior experience necessary.

The salary for this role is 1800$ per month. The Junior Accountant will be based in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of transactions
• Process invoices and track payments
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Keep up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (English language proficiency is not required)
• Prior experience is not necessary but considered a plus
