Financial Reporting Accountant

Reports to Senior Finance Officer and Manager / Controller — Kuwait.

Completing the maker-checker chain already applied to payments, extending it to financial reporting.

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash position, variance analysis)
• Preparation of supporting schedules for CMA/regulatory filings and audit requests
• Verification of report figures tie back to the ledger and reconciliations
• Supporting the external audit process
• Cross-training as backup for the Bookkeeper/Accountant
• Preparation of consolidated Kuwait + UAE group accounts

• Four to five years in financial and statutory reporting
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience on an ERP or accounting system such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP
• Advanced Excel
• Experience gained in an accounting or auditing firm
• Working knowledge of IFRS
• Fluent in English

• CPA or ACCA
• Multi-entity or group consolidation experience
• Experience preparing regulatory filing schedules (CMA)
• Arabic language skills
