Job Purpose:

To ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial reports, reconciliation of accounts, and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities: 1) Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

2) General Ledger Management:

Prepare and maintain the general ledger.
Perform regular account reconciliations.

3) Cost Accounting:

Strong knowledge of recipe creation and product costing.
Prepare and finalize COGS, including variance analysis reports.

4) Monthly and Yearly closing:

Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial closing tasks.

5) Budgeting:

Assist in tracking and monitoring budget vs. actual performance.
Assist in preparing the annual budget.

6) Support Audits:

Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.

7) Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency.
Implement best practices to enhance financial processes

8) Team

Collaboration:

Work Closely with other departments to gather financial information
Provide guidance and support other team members

Educational

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CA, etc.) are an added advantage.

Experience and Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong background in general ledger management, month-end closing, and financial reporting
Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and cost control
Achievement-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Creative, resourceful, and pragmatic, with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
Experience working on Oracle Fusion is an added advantage.
