Junior Librarian

Our library in Al-Kuwait is currently seeking a Junior Librarian to join our team. This is a full-time position that welcomes freshers and does not require prior experience or proficiency in English. We are committed to creating job opportunities for Africans and will provide a free visa and ticket for the selected candidate.

• Assist with the organization and maintenance of the library's collection.
• Shelving books according to the designated classification system.
• Catalog new materials using our library software.
• Ensure all items are easily accessible for patrons.
• Check in/out materials for library users.
• Manage overdue notices and communicate with patrons regarding returned items.
• Answer phone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate department.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic (English proficiency is not required).
• Passion for books and learning.
