Librarian Assistant
As a Librarian Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Librarian in managing the library collections and providing support to library users. This contract position is based in Al-Kuwait and is open to Pakistani nationals. No English proficiency is required for this role, making it suitable for beginners or non-native speakers.

• Assist with the organization and management of library materials, including books, journals, and other resources
• Process new library acquisitions and maintain accurate records of all materials
• Help with cataloging and classification of materials using established systems
• Provide assistance to library users in finding and accessing resources
• Maintain a clean and organized library space
• Support the Head Librarian in developing library programs and initiatives, such as workshops or events
• Perform routine administrative tasks such as checking out materials, collecting fines, and managing overdue items

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Library Science preferred
• Previous experience working in a library or similar environment is an asset
• Familiarity with cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal or Library of Congress Classification
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills when assisting library users

This position offers a monthly salary of 1400$. Accommodation will also be provided.
