Library Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Library Assistant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Librarian in managing the day-to-day operations of the library. This is a part-time position with flexible working hours, making it perfect for students or individuals looking for additional work.

• Assist in cataloging, shelving, and organizing library materials
• Provide support to patrons by answering questions and assisting with locating materials
• Process new library card applications and maintain accurate records of membership
• Help with circulation tasks such as checking out and returning materials
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the library space
• Assist with planning and implementing library programs and events
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Bachelor's degree in Library Science preferred
• Knowledge of library systems, cataloging procedures, and classification systems
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Customer service oriented with good communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Previous experience working in a library or similar setting is a plus

1700$ per month (part-time)

Al-Kuwait (Indian nationals preferred)
