Library Assistant

We are seeking a Library Assistant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the library, including shelving books, organizing materials, and providing customer service to library patrons. This is a full-time job that does not require previous experience or proficiency in English, making it suitable for all individuals.

Additionally, accommodation will be provided for the selected candidate.

• Shelving books and materials in their designated areas
• Organizing and maintaining the library's collection
• Assisting patrons with finding materials and answering inquiries
• Processing new library cards and checking out materials
• Collecting fines and fees for late returns or lost items
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the library space
• Assisting with library events and activities as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work full-time hours
• No previous experience required
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and software
• Friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic (English proficiency not required)
• Must be willing to live on-site in provided accommodation
